Facebook? What a load of rubbish, wherever i go in my building, id say 7 out of 10 users are busy on there, chatting to mates, speaking to old school freinds, or the people that used to bully and torment them, and throw them against the wall, that have finally grown up, or the pervy lads that are hunting old girly mates to get laid and say, hey look what im doing now, im successfull, i have a job in mcdonalds (no offence to anyone working in mcdonalds, just needed an example) and drive a pink pimped out nova GTE thats really a 1.2i with a bodykit ive spunked £thousands on..!

I do have an account, i use it to test the firewalls and make sure people on some of the shows we are doing cant access it, it just sits there, yet everyone under the sun wants to be my 'freind' again.

I hated school, and most the people that were in it, and no, i dont want to know that they are hitchhiking in tibet right now, and heres the pics. - I dont want to see them thanks, join the monks for all i care.

Im doing my best to fight against the powers that be that sit in the ivory towers in my building to get it banned here at HQ, although their excuse is, we use it for social networking to get jobs in and to see whos speaking about our programmes! The real reason is, they have their own bloody account and are just as bad as the little people below them, they just dont want to admit it!!

Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh Rant over...im better now.
I bet its because nobody would accept your friend requests.

If that video is anything to believe then the world is turning into George Orwell's "1984". We're probably being watched on here in case someone tries to sell real guns...

If you hate facebook, what must you think of myspaz and the other chavtastic networking sites?
There are plenty of bad points, but if you dont want to add a 'friend', you dont have to, and if you dont want an application, you dont have to.

The things that it's good for make it worth using, like waiting to see a bunch of photos being uploaded from a night out, or a weekend away at a tournament
I have a Myspace page and Im quite happy with that. I can see bulletins that come out and I choose whose blogs I chose to have on my watch list. I don't get spammed with mail or comments every 5 seconds. It has all of the advantages of a website and more. Sure its not perfect but it beats Crapbook hands down.

I'm with you Adamantium..

When I meet people from school and it's like "Hey how you doing I haven't seen you in years" I'm smiling, but internally I'm going "yeah, there's a ****ing reason for that"
lol a feeling I know well. My Secondary School had a Reunion which my mother told me about and was trying to push me to go to. She got the response of "Why would I want to see all those a-holes. I hated them at school, Im not likely to suddenly like them now. The ones I did like Im still in touch with and don't need to go to a reunion to see."

Anyone else think it's ironic that people are bitching about a social network on another social network?

Facebook has it's bad points, but used wisely/sparingly and with the right privacy settings, can be very useful for keeping in touch with old friends.

I think your quite wrong there, this is a paintball forum, with a few of the abilities similar to social networking to help people with one primary thing in mind PAINTBALL.. not 'i want to be in a pirate gang' or 'poke me' and i'll 'poke you' back, and lets be in the 'i love britney spears' social networking group..
