Seriously, just get a good battery. we checked out a load with a voltmeter and the 'cheap crappy' ones put out about 5volts sometimes.
Have you got the dwell adjusted correctly too? You could have it way too low and it would do the same thing

all sorted now guys. i done both things. new battery, and reset the dwell and put it to 52 from bottom (which is right and if not someone please correct me but it seems to be firing fine )

i only just noticed this thread but i would of told you that the BH if that what you have comes with dwell right at the bottom.(well mine did) so that was prob what was wrong, but then again i have never let one off my batters go flat so dont no whats its like.
