HeHe tortoise maybe he has twin sisters :D

Ok I looked at the enigma web site and I cant think what the problem can be.

OK lets get back to basics

Try oiling the bolt oring, infact oil all of the o rings.

Now slide the whole assembly in the frame. when you discover resistance pull the trigger while still pushing hard on the bolt assembly. If it goes in further then pull the trigger again when you discover resistance. Does this work?

Thanks for the help crom. That wasn't exactly what worked. It doesn't make any sense, but I turned it on it's side (outside for right handers). I did do the part about pushing harder. The enigma site says not to use alot of force. I just got it today, it's still covered. But I finally got it fixed. Thanks for the help!!

the other way of doing that would be to take off the grip frame, then there would be nothing obstructing the movement of the hammer (what you call the lower bolt).
There should only be 2 screws holding the grip frame in place, and its a really simple thing to take off then put back on.
But dont force it too ofter, cos you could heavily wear the hammer, and cause in not to run properly in the marker.

ok?
Any further help needed just give us a shout.

Yeah but billy. That means that everytime he takes out the bolt for cleaning he will have to remove the gripframe to put it back in.
Not the most practical ways of doing it. :)

the price of getting a clone, instead of a more comon type (ie spyder / piranah) and anyway, once its had a few thousand shots through it, its bound to loosen up, and go in by just pulling the trigger and pushing it :)

or just clean it with boiling water !!
thats why most spyder clones are quick strip now. To make it easier to remove the bolt. and those kind of markers come with the sear retraction button you mentioned earlier.

Yes, I bought one for my son as his first marker. The very small diameter main spring will give out, slowly lowering your velocity. Despite being a spyder clone you cannot directly replace the spring because of the small diameter hole in the striker. Solution? Replace the striker with one from a Spyder... but be careful, the strikers are not identical. I put in an aftermarket spring, stock spyder striker and buffer, bored out the velocity adjuster assembly to accomodate the larger spring and voila... it works, so far with plenty of velocity and hopefully more reliability.

The stock barrel was actually quite good with medium large paint, and suprisingly quiet. Aftermarket Spyder/Pirhana trigger frames do fit... I put an E-LCD trigger frame on it (bought it for $20 in disrepair and fixed it) and have been quite happy. It now belongs to my daughter, but I wouldn't hesitate to use it if my Bushy ever goes to marker heaven.
