Any Timmy Techs out there>? HELP!!

Any timmy techs out there?

Think one of the ram sleeve allen screws is cross threaded as its really tight trying to get it out and it squeaks really loud when twisted. Need it removing before it goes to get annoed.

is there anyone that rebuilds timmys and can check everythings ok?

can pay obviously and this is quite urgent

its an alias 2k5 intimidator if you need to know

i would think its been loctited in mate to be honest. Im sure thats how they come, if it is cross threaded (which i doubt) then your gonna have to either drill it out and re tap which isn't advisable or get a new ram sleeve. Like i said though i think its just gonna be loctited in.

Heat it up with a hair dryer and see if that makes a difference.

Agree. I've removed a lot of screws that were securted with loc-tite cement or red, and I've had to place the item in a vice to secure it, heat the joint, and crank on the allen key to get the screw to come out, and if that's the case, squeaking is not at all uncommon.

thanks for the help, I just got it out lol. now everythings out apart from, where the volumiser is all the things in there not sure how to get it out. I really need to get it out so I can send all the stuff to slothball.

My next question is, will there be anyone out there willing to put it back to gether? I have a full rebuild kit and everything for it an hosing . All the parts are in good condition just I wouldnt mind a service and all.I would obviously pay for someone to service it and build it back up from scratch.

Will try and post pics when I get home of what I mean.

i thought the sloth dudes coudl strip down and rebuild post anno your marker for you for a nominal fee?

lol probably bs! jk, I fired off an email to them and they said they can do, ego,cockers,dm,pm almost every marker except the intimidator.

I just dont fancy trying to putting it back together and blowing my head off as somthings not right lol

So might be a bit far. I dont mind paying though as if it didnt get sorted it would just stay in my draw lol and gather dust

well its up to you mate. im snoed under at uni and cant really travel so if you want, you can post it to me, ill reassemble it and photograph the process as i go along and then send it back to you? its your call mate. unless anyone else lives near you who can do it

EDIT: **** just remembered, i got no red loctite etc. if you can get hold of that, lube and o-rings for timmy's as well
