Any One Shot A Ion Yet ??

In my opinion...

Its all a bit sneaky.

Smart Parts were recently getting flamed for legal actions against other paintball companies. Suddenly they bring out a stupidly affordable gun which even people who arent in the market for a new gun will buy as a back up. Buying friends, anyone?

My question would be this: If Smart Parts can produce a small, good looking, accurate, tournament ready, fire assisted, stupidly quick marker for around £200, why are other paintball markers so expensive? Surely thats like saying "I'll sell you a top of the range Mercedes for £2,000, but that top of the range Jaguar will cost you £60,000". Isnt it?

Thing about the ion is its all standerdised parts and is probably built in a very quick and efficient way with budget parts and hence why so cheap. Now the shocker bolt can be taken out the back of the shocker but the ion bolt must be lifted out after the cover is removed, this was a design that probably cost less money to make for example. There are many wee features of it that are cheap, but you get for you pay for and the the ion is a lovely little marker for the price.

I set one of Just Paintball's ions up at Kidderminster yesterday (a yellow and Black one, if you tried it or saw it floating round) all i did to it was take it out the box, put its 9V battery in it, bang on a preset air system and a Halo. No fiddling, no nothing, and the thing rips. I was well impressed for the price, and so was everyone who tried it out and played with it. dont think any other gun compares to it for £195.
