The first thing i would look at is more than just a quick question on here as to wether ballers would like a shop in northampton. Of ocurse there going to say yes, its close to them.
You want to do full market research as well.
Where are the other shops in the uk in relation to northampton. Are they purely web based? Do they have an actual premises? Are they tagged onto recball sites? etc etc.
At the minute in the uk we have a vast number of well established Internet and retail stores in the uk compared with the amount of ballers. If i thought about it i could probably name 10-15, that is a lot compared with the actual number of paintballers in this country, scenario and sup air included.
There are shops going out of business as well, is it feasable? You want to have a real good look before investing your hard earned ( or banks) money. Paintball is not a very easy field in which to set up businesses in. Im sure i read somewhere that the makority of new paintball sites go bust in the first year and this is with using the uk general public as customers not already committed ballers.
If you do go ahead i wish you well but dont get any grand gestures of making a big buck very quickly as im afraid unless you develop a product which totally revolutionises the whole of paintball you wont be making much money.
