Any danger of a Campaign 04 DVD??!!??

The camera work at Euroball was definitely hampered by the fact we had no room to work in (the organisers basically forgot we'd need some room to stay out of the firing line) so yeah, the camerawork is definitely better in Campaign.

Ddi you ever watch Euroball a second time? You notice more in that film the more you watch it, but its definitely a lot more frantic than the Euro 5 Man DVD was...

Carl - yes I did - and I still prefer the 5-man footage. Sorry, but like I said - I tend to use paintball DVD's as training aids - hence the love of full field, over-the-shoulder angles etc. Here's an idea - and seeing as how Chris started this thread - how about producing a 'Nexus' training DVD. I bet that would be a best seller.

We paid for the DvD up-front at Euroball and were promised that it would be posted to us. At this moment, I beleive that we have received nothing. I'll have the guy with the receipt contact you.

Just to followup Carl's post above.

I've literally just finished the final scene of the screenplay (as Carl mentions, editing of games etc started a long time ago but the interview and 'story' content that bookends it is put together separately) and I'm really, really excited by it. It's the most exciting, professional, funny and hairs-on-the-back-of-your-neck thing I've written.

Part of this is down to the quality of content that we were able to get from people like yourself, Chris, as well as Dave Stewart, Alan Smith, Aggy Ignition, Caleb from Phillys, Jason from Trauma Xalo, Sanchez and Sergey from Russian Legion etc. Many thanks to everyone who took the time to talk to us!

Anyway, as Carl says it's all in the edit now, but I'll be posting here at p8 talk to let you all know when the trailers are out, confirmed launch date, website updates, launch event details etc as they happen over the next few weeks.

In the meantime, if you played in any of the Xball teams at Campaign and would like to pass us any of the following, you'd be making our graphics guy's life a lot easier!

- Team Logo - as large a size and high a resolution as possible, in .psp .tiff or .jpg file format

- Team photo - Posed shot of players in team strip

- Individual Player photos - posed shot of player in team strip

We'd also be interested to talk to anyone who shot amateur footage at the tournament as part of a proposed 'Fanzone' Extras item for the DVD.
