the thing that gets me is wen am at college being bored, reading PGi, people ask what are you reading, i lift it up, them seeing the back of it with the rec ball side of paintball.

the paintball bit on spaced is brilliant - makes it look like war so i didn't want to like it but it really is funny.
I had to have Physio on my knees a while ago, and the (scary) Lady who was doing it asked me all these questions and one was if I did any sport. So, I said "yeah, I bmx and play paintball"
The she goes "oh, thats where you run around trees being soldiers isn't it? doesn't look all that fun to me"

See, the best thing is to just nod and agree;
I've tried sooo many times to explain to people; showed them pictures, the mag etc but as soon as you say it isn't in the woods; it's actually on flat (ha ha) grass pitches etc, they start to glaze over...
...until you say the bunkers are blow-up shapes
then they ask that question...
..."wow, like a bouncy castle?????"

then they lose interest.
We need to get some sort of wholly-sup air site set-up, designed for first-time players, & advertise on TV.
If you played a clip of Thomas off XSV doing one of those mad over the 50 dives and mugging people out (like off that 3-man tourney vid that was posted up a while ago), in the advert you'd get sooo many people.
