hey,

I still am using the SLG and by god it is driving me up the walll....:mad:

i took it to a walkon today and use sealed 1 month old paint, and well...it chopped so much that my barrel became a newly lit lighthouse, well anyhow it chops like mad, this is my second one from dye in croyden who replaced the old one..who by the way had the exact same problem!

Previous problem according to technician - Detents were set too far back, hence the paintballs firing before they are fully fed.

my questions are;

A) Are Proto SLGs made like this by default and have not yet being fixed?
B) Would they replace the gun with a PMR since they are valued the same as off when i bought a SLG "152.95"
c) Finally, what would they do if they won't replace it if anyone knows...

When you say chop, you mean the ball breaking to pieces in the chamber and in the first 2 inches of the barrel, right?

I wonder... I've got one of the first SLGs Dye had - got it at WC during the tech course... Didn't have one tiny problem with it... I actually used this gun over my hi-ends...

yarrrpp, it breaks within the chamber; it just fired shells out yesterday xD. the first few shots were ok like 5 at most (this is after cleaning the gun) and then went onto chopping a couple, thereafter i can fire a mixture of hitting and non-hitting paint.

tbh, its like marmite....you either love it or hate it, i spoke to the dye tech today who sorted my problem last time and well...he gave me a ref number which means i now gota get me marker checked.

it may have been the weather and am gona shoot a few hundred rounds in my garden today, see who it goes maybe it was the weather.

My buddies was replaced for the same reason along with a failed solenoid.

I suspect issues with the first batch.

Speak to Ash I am sure he will sort you out.
