100% agree the goggles are the main thing, in fairness and with all due respect "most the people on this and other forums will recomend or advise top of the range markers, i am also new, and found this, to be totally honest it dont matter what marker you get you will never "shoot ropes" right from day one. And comon sence says why buy for exapme a top of the range pc when all you want to do is type a document in a word processor! A type writer can do that! Dont waste ya money kidda no matter what people tell you, wait and see what "comes". Like someone said previously look at the for sale in the fornums and pick up a cheap bargain somewhere down the line, play with it a little bit and get annoyed coz your out firing it then you know your ready to move on and really want to play.I've seen a lot of these basic set ups give more trouble than they're worth. If it's just rec-ball you're playing then invest in a good set of goggles and use the site guns.
I myself was going to spend a few hundred on a set up similar to what you described with "everything included"it really isnt worth it mate! Picture this..... you buy a brand new top of the range sports car after passing your test just to find out you not really bothered about driving or its to quick for you, your lass ends up "up the stick" and you need a little run of the mill put put to goto the shops and back.
Like the top quote says get a decent mask and take it from there, anyone and i mean anyone can shoot out a pro with the top of the range marker even with a site marker! For example i played today with a cheap second hand marker (£35 off this formum) same as i did last week at a big game and shot plenty of people out even tho they had the top of the range stuff! Yes its nice to be able to "shoot ropes" but its only 1 paintball thanks puts somone of the game!
Hope this helps mate and good luck
