Another newbie that needs help if poss

Hi people
As you can see if new in to paintball, and really need some help in getting a marker.
Ive been looking around at marker packages and found a few.
Ive found the the icon x package, also the bt-4 combat pacakge and two other which are the vl traid and hanger 18 eros.
i just really need some help in telling me in which marker to go for or advice.Cheers for your time

It depends on the type of paintball you want to play. The marker packages you've listed are very basic, and would not be suitable for tournament play. They would just about survive a rec-ball day so i would set my sights a bit higher.

To be honest mate, i'm really not looking to go pro and the time being, just really just for a laugh if you know what i mean.

I've seen a lot of these basic set ups give more trouble than they're worth. If it's just rec-ball you're playing then invest in a good set of goggles and use the site guns.

Then if you want to go further, buy a second marker from these forums and spend around £200 - £300 for a reasonable setup.

Been there done that... and cant sell the t-shirt. Get the best possible marker you can afford. 1 good investment beats have 2 **** ones
