if i were you. i would go for the tippmann. u play at npf dont u. they use tippmanns there. and when do they ever break down. theres plenty of room for improvements/upgrades, and they r at a pretty cheap price. just my opinion there. but u have already tried tippmanns i think, so know how u like them, and the feel of them. but in the end, its up to u.

Tippy's are allways going to be very reliable i don't think that iv heard about one breaking down but then again piranhas are spyder clones but are built much tougher and are tested, battered up then tested agin to ensure that they will work, they are very reliable plus they are easy to feild strip they have a little switch on the black maxx & trracer that alows you to clean the top of the trigger very easy.

I have got a piranha waiting for me at Rekka Gear..:) :D :D :D

Sounds good, thanx for the advice.
Yeh mike i do play at the NPF. I just don't know what the point would be to get a tippmann if i can rent it there for free anyway.
So really it is down to tippmann vs inferno with the underlying threat of a pirahna. Scary ey?
I just need a bargain now.
I like the look of the inferno's they have at warped sportz in wolves, bit pricey tho...

Looking at some of the posts in this forum, I'll add as well that i had considered one of the JT excellerators but i received a lot of complaints and general lack of approval for this marker and its reliability so i decided to stay clear. The same goes for the black draguns. Obviously if what i have heard is wrong then feel free to correct me, i'm just going on what i've been told.

Not a bad idea Joff. I heard they had some tippmann with upgrades and stuff for 200, i thought that was a bit too expensive though so i never looked into it. I thought if i was getting a tippman i'd rather upgrade it the way i want.

Agreed, which is one of the problems I'm facing - I've not got much (if any) of a clue about what parts do what, so when offered a modified setup I'm lost!
