i think for £75-£100 more that version represents great value with teh custom UL, feedneck and far better milling...plus i do like the contrasting black/red

cant see them selling many normal 06s with deals like that
most ppl buy a better barrel (and you now have to with the adjused barrel threads) as well as after market feednecks so this is probably good business sense and decent savings for teh buyer. plus we all know the hassles of custom anno'ing things like barrels

so yeah id say another new angel, but least this one has perks

partially agree about the EGO. there are 4 variants however each are differnt spec and so represent different purchases and all have unique and highly contrasting milling/colours

to liken it just to eclipse for the sake of time, itd be like
ego (g7),
ego+ (fly),
ego- (speed)
and about 3+ private label egos (joy, arsenal, firstcall)

dunno why there is a WDP stigma...perhaps people arent really seeing anything drastic happening these days. at least with an ego its a brand new gun. its not like DC3, DC4 etc

If the rumours of the new Ego are to be believed you may get just that scenario

It's also worth pointing out that Eclipse only make one marker at present.

Therefore compare one Planet gun (Ego) with one WDP gun (G7 or Speed - take your pick).

So, in the red corner you have the Ego (Mantis, XSV, standard, Nexus + star frame variants etc)

In the Blue Corner you have the G7 (standard, Fly, Joy, Arsenal)

I make that four a piece, unless I missed one??

yeah im quite intersted to try the newer angels
and i do like the 45 frames on them

I agree. Used to be necassary with the rotobreech but now that is milled away it could be brought right down.

In my opinion too many people seem to bothered what colour, model/year their markers are instead of concentrating on their game, Will a Red 06 marker make you play better than a Blue 05 marker?

Too many rich mommas boys out there who would rarther look good 1st and play well 2nd

I carn't justify spending nearlly £1200 on a marker everytime the marker company decide to change the colour/milling
