hello DangerousBrian, can you tell me if dust realy is like the pictures i posted above or is it more of a brushed/matt type finish. the pictures above seem to almost have a flip, like bright red to dark red, and so and. so im stuck now, i think im going to have to stick with the polished effect and clear andozie it. because i wont all match otherwise. unless i faded it. has anyone got any suggestion on how to make this realy smart. its a karta body, intelliframe, dye gas thru, dye mini drop, hybrid grind, powerlyte ss scepter (SS rear Chrome, black aluminium front), ccm no raise feed neck polished, and all being well a reverse 15 degree asa in nickel. oh yeh and a black x valve.

p.s. my thinking was a highly polished effect all over with black details. but it seems a little boring.

Christmas ornaments in the US are usually glass. They look like that. I believe that they use a peroxide solution to etch the surface, and coat the inside with aluminum powder to make it shiny- but I could be wrong.

What are you trying to match it to? Christmas ornaments? Some dust finishes are different from others. A lot depends on the medium that it is blasted with.
