Very true. On average you lose 0.025mm of material everytime you strip the dye of its metal. You lose this much because you cant release the dye from the metals pores, so you have to take a layer of material with the dye in it away (0.025mm) then re-anodize. So inside the marker, the canal holding all the internals is round and tube like so therefore re-anodizing will take away 0.05mm away in total. Making your bolt and internals 0.05mm smaller, hence the term 'a prik in a bucket'.
So make sure you only do it once. So pick the right colour before you do ;)

Jackson Plating in Hounslow did my bits for me... Should be in Yellow pages.

I got one cocker annoed and another one chromed. Not just the body mind... Everything excluding the block the pneumatics sit on (can't remember it's proper name at the moment:rolleyes:) including barrels, bottom lines, back blocks, stocks, etc, etc

For £30 each.:)

If you do go down the non-paintball anodisers route take a copy of a paintball mag with you and say you want "that"!

Oh, and i don't accept any responsibility if it all goes wrong!:D

sounds like a good idea to me.....might have a little experiment with a body kit and see what it comes out like!

As i said, i would go and see whoever you can find to do it and get them to show you examples of other things they've done. Anodising doesn't tend to "wear out" as the dye is "in" the metal. Go and get it chromed!!! All the bling for the same bucks!!!:D

And you know that shiney things work better, shoot faster, are more accurate, etc, etc - yeah?
