actually looking at doing something a little bit mad with a computer case

tried something last year with spray paint on a steel case....and to be honest it looked really bad.......good job i was using an old case as a test rig......

anyhow these guys who do annodising are professional, so they can get a much better finish and as they do it all the time with certain colours, they should be cheaper than sending it to a car body shop, which was my next line of enquiry

so as long as these companies can do something this big, i may be in business

and yes i know this over the top, but i like to mod computers....what else can i say

Have you tried a decent air brush? you can get very good with a little bit of practice, plus you'd have complete control? and buying an air brush would probably work out cheaper than getting it annoe'd anyway. Plus you'd have an air brush for future use and modding. (you don't need a compressor...... you can buy propelant cans).

its a thought......i actually do have a compressor.....but have tried to do it with a spray gun, not an air brush

i would rather paint it.....coz i can use a steel case....which are cheaper to buy....so if you screw them up they are cheaper to replace

now where did i put that scrap case again.......

You can get a basic airbrush for £30 or so........ and up from there.
Very good pice of kit to have.
