The outside holes are then filled and loctited with small grub screws that you should NEVER need to remove. This is the only way to get a passage for air between two tubes inside your body, see? :)
Spot on...:)

When the marker gets stripped those screws are bye bye, you'll have to get replacments!
Hopefully they'll completely break down otherwise you may have problems.
Suprised no-ones mentioned this previously.....

:)

ps thread lock is best removed with heat, in this case as you'd already stripped the marker then boiling water would've worked a treat!

TO elaborate on Paul's post, when the marker gets dumped in the big vat of acid the (presumably steel) screws will get eaten away. If the whole screw doesn't get eaten then you might end up with some remnants left in the threads which will bugger up your chances of getting replacement screws back in (if you can even get them)!!!

If you haven't sent it off you should still be able to ge the screws out... Heat up the area around the screw so that the glue softens and then get some leverage on the little blighters.:)

They will come out Ian, just need a good fitting allen key, and as Stan said a fair degree of heat. Boiling water is good.
