Quarks pop in and out of existence? News to me.Originally posted by TJ Lambini
Flat shooting...you know, like a Cocker. As opposed to Impulses, that shoot round corners, and Timmys that do a doodlebug-bouncing bomb type thang. Oh, and Matrixes shoot so that tha paint turns into little quarks that pop in and out of existence.
Jeez, keep up...
Long and short of it.Originally posted by John C
Almost.
The bolt movement contributes to kick.
Clearly a heavier bolt moving faster will cause the marker to vibrate.
But the bolt always starts and ends in the same place, so although it moves it barely puts any force on the person holding the marker.
This reaction from the bolt is a tiny amount of force compared to the reaction to firing a paintball.
Its nothing to do with particular markers its schoolboy physics.
In order to make a paintball go at 300fps in one direction we get a reaction in the opposite direction.
That force is dependant on the mass of the paintball, the velocity we fire the paintball at and the mass of the marker we fire it from.
That is the main contributor to the kick of any marker.
True but since the mass of the paintball is negligable compared to the marker and also its not a fixed mass things become more complicated than there is an equal force.Originally posted by John C
