LCDs are fantastic markers, and with the amount on sale at the moment, you should get a really good deal.
For the difference in money, i would stick with the LCD rather than the IR3. If you want to spend more cash, buy a speed,as they have significant improvements over the LCD and IR3.

Having owned and used an LCD and a Speed if you can afford the extra go for the speed man they are awesome. Angels do have excellent build quality

My LCD has never let me down, it's been a great marker, and the IR3 really doesn't have THAT many new featuers over the LCD. For the price difference, the LCD is cheaper and just about the same. I would recommend the Speed over the LCD if you can afford it though, the Speed is a little lighter, a little shorter (same size as the IR3), lower pressure and much faster, and they're only $800 from just about any retailer now.

You can use an LCD charger to charge an IR3, it's the exact same charger (the charger that came with my IR3 says "LCD" on it).
