Angels

When they work they are a nice gun, fast stable and efficient.
They are popular for fashion as much as anything ( I admit they look lovely!), but are not really any better than a lot of other high end guns.

In my experiences with angels, there are a few key features that make them stand out. First: Speed. Angels can be easily pushed to fire insane amounts of paint. Second: Quality. Angels are probably the most professionally (solidly) built electro paintball guns out there. They ooze quality with certain bentlyesque features such as cops, the ir link, and the beautiful LCD screen. And Third: Reputation. Angels have built up a reputation of being the best of the best for a reason. They are very good guns, and if you have one, it gives you a tremendous field presence at the local fields and minor tourneys.

I personally prefer the timmy though because they are more easily field stripable and I "percieve" better accuracy, and its a bit lighter.:D

Also...

There is nothing you need to buy for an angel to make it perform better... ready to rock at its full potential straight from the box... other markers need to have this reg that reg, bolt etc to really be able to do some damage.

Basically Angels look great, have a mint trigger set up as standard (although u can alter them to be even better). the Angel has loads of gadjets especially the ir3, for example it comes with an LCD screen which allows u to alter the settings to ur requirements also no need to mess about with the markers internals to alter the settings simply press a few buttons and ur away. Angels are easy to maintain and even if something does go wrong the lads at WDP will sort it for u.

so in all Angels are the dog bollocks

cheers Woza

Ready to rock.....

Erm quite a few markers come ready to rock, and if the Angel needs no improvement then what about the Mamba IR3 or Rocky's signature marker?

And as a small thought we've had two Angels on our team, 1 LCD that has never really worked properly as the Velocity keeps going low and staying that way, despite being looked at by WDP at Campaing last year and our local Angel tech. Also the IR3 suffered with veloicty troubles but now seems ok, when not smashing paint!

Just thought i'd stir it up a little ;) :)

i understand what ur sayin mate i believe that if u dont mess about with ur marker and leave it to some one who knows what they are doing, you will have few problems. like people say if it works dont touch it.

Blatent post steal there by me....

It illustrates a point tho... these days there are no "better" markers. Its all down to personal taste.... Im a gadget man, I love em to bits... if it has flashy lights and screens and buttons I gotta have it... So why on earth did I choose an Eclipse Cocker (Pre-Eblade) over an Angel?

Well because it felt right to me, and thats what counts. I dont like Angels, I dont like the way they sit in my hand and to me they "feel" clinical and without personality... I do like Timmys because I have just discovered I can make them shoot stupid quick... but stick the EBlade back in my hand and I feel comfortable and able to play my game. Its not because thats what I am used to... I tried a multitude of markers out before I bought the cocker.... XMag, Timmy, Angel, Matrix etc...

People want Angels for different reasons, 1) they like em, pure and simple 2) Marketing, WDP do a damm fine job of making the marker look "sexy" so people want it....

If you buy an Angel because of marketing without trying other stuff.. or you buy one because some one on this board says they are great (check who that persons sponsored by) more fool you. If you buy one because you like the way it feels and the way it shoots then you made the right choice.
