i was looking at buying one at elsham, Fraser (wdp tech dude) advised me to steer clear as they are purely cometic, said if i wanted to put anything at all on the front he would suggest one of the pressure guages that sits where a volumiser would go, they look the dogs and show you are running at the right pressure.

The only function they perform is that they save a tech a couple of seconds to get into the LPR since he/she doesn't have to find the correct allen key to remove the standard end cap!
As Enid said, the pressure gauge performs the same laziness aid plus gives you a nice dial to look at!

you do have to emmite that they look dam good on some angel's though.

They do look sexy I admit, but if you get hit on a non-standard piece of kit, that serves no purpose, then I guess you'd be annoyed- I know I would be. Then again, there is a lot of cosmetic stuff on paintball gear that isn't always necessary e.g. some goggle peaks...my 2 cents
you surely cant disagree that the DYE volumiser isnt as sexy as hell, le-pig!
