Actually,
You're wrong. You can't get trigger bounce on the opto, that's one of the reasons that they designed the opto. In the LCD's and earlier IR3's that have microswitches you can get bounce, but not on the opto.

Philip,
What pin are you talking about and what do you mean full auto style bounce? Full auto style bounce is the only bounce there is. That's why people put bounce in the trigger, so you can get two shots per pull and release, that's what bounce means. And what pin are you talking about? You mean the actuator for the swith itself? I've never heard of anybody bending that by putting bounce on the trigger.

Ok, i didn't phrase it very well. On the opto boards, you can get bounce, i've seen it done.

And yes, i mis-wrote what i meant. When you say 2 shots per trigger pull, trigger bounce isn't that, it could be any number of shots, and the trigger is still actuated so you are still doing 1 shot per pull. As for the bending the actuator by putting bounce on the trigger, i meant that the bounce can happen from a broken switch, not by trying to make it bounce.

And i have always thought of trigger bounce of pulling the trigger, and the kick of the gun resetting the trigger and pulling again, not illegal bounce IE 2 shots per pull.

PHILLIP.
Greetings. As a Mag RT owner, the subject of trigger bounce is of great interest to me. Are you saying that the responsivenes of an RT should not be illegal (tourneywise)? If i pull straight through the "sweetspot" it will only fire once, so technically as you say, the trigger is actuating on every shot.
Need some affirmation on the subject!!
Cheers

Ok, im not sure what you mean, but i will try.

Firstly, having alot of bounce on RT's should be illegal tourny wise, but they should be allowed some responsiveness. Even my bushy bounces. If shouldn't run away with the slight touch of the trigger, but it should be able to bounce when you get to high rates of fire like most markers.
