if it works then the sensi is working and the board is detecting that the sensi is working so it is highly probable that your red button is either fooked, or has a small peice of paint shell or dirt in it, switch off the gun and take the board out of the grip then check the button, if it is nacked you could get a new button and solder it (if u are up to skill on soldering) or send it away, or get another board.......but we will cross that bridge when we come to it....it does sound like the button is nacked or dirty tho sensi switches are pretty cheap, they are pretty basic

check the button with multimeter works fine i am thnking its the board, How much is Cheap

the sensi is the cheap bit, but we know its working as the detection system is ok, not quite sure about full boards what you may do is pm Stig (from Pheonix) as he is an electronics genius, he has done stuff for many peeps angels in the past inc ACE systems, he may be able to check the full board and replace bits if needed, just out of curiosity is the gun chopping paint, if not then dont wory about it if it is well its gonna cost to get new boards i would be thinking of getting rid of the sensi (its pants any ho) and go for an ACE system onto the board peeps say it cant be done on a speed but it can av seen it lmao


CONTACT STIG either at www.saac.co.uk or via the lads at pheonix it could simply be the leds are nackered but i would investigate further before spending big chicks on a new board, if you do get in touch with stig, let me know and ill lend him my speed to use as a checking guide

full boards including a screen are £140 from wdp OR you could just get John C's new board with eyes for £120/£130 as its just about to come out, also equipped with 15bps ramping no chops, FAST AS FOOK!

I have a spare board you could 'test'. There seems to be some confusion on here as to which light. I presume you mean the LED next to the words 'sensi' and not the old thing above the charging socket (used to be for I/R I believe - but not used on speed 03/04's).

BTW - I am getting John's eye upgrade as soon as it is ready - should be a machine gun by the time him and Tom have finished with it

andy - pm me your addy and i'll send you my 'old' board. The solenoid won't activate on it - but everything else works (I am after a knack'd speed board to make 1 good one out of 2 bad uns)
