Best thing to do is try as many as possible and see what fits with you. Everyone has their perception of which marker is best but at the end of the day you are the one having to use and abuse it (sh*t, sound like my dad, mom, granny)

I'd wager a considerable sum of cash that it was on the old standard software (capped at 13bps) and had not fully broken in with the LPR still at 90psi . . . possibly shooting a Revvy. . or just setup silly!?!?
Cos I know mine I can dangle a paintball on a piece of tape half way in the breech (like the Level 10) and cycle it and it just bounces of the ball!
But anyway . .. I do agree, you should (if possible) try before you buy, as you may not like the way a marker feels, some people love Angels, some people love Impy's etc. . .
