angel problem

i have just opened the back of my angel for the very first time. as i was removing it carefully a spring just shot out, so i didn't get to see there i'm to put it back, so that is my porblem and question to you, where does it go?
i also don't have a manual.

its the spring for the breach knob pin,there is a hole next to the pin put it in there m8

thats where i throught it went, but it doesn't look like is would serve a perpose in there.

It is the return spring for the breech pin. It goes in after the breech pin and rests on top of the little right-angled spigot that sticks out of the breech pin. When you pull the breech pin knob the resistance is this spring pressing against the back plate.

Ahhhhh ****, why did you guys just say that, i opened my Angel and 'BOOOIIINNNGGG' its buggered off somewhere. What type of spring is it as will need to get a new one as mine has gine into orbit...

The missing spring




Anyone know where I can get that spring I lost from my earlier post. Was thinking maybe the WDP spares kit but aint sure. If anyone knows, please help a dum Geordie who let curiosity mess him up....

Wdp is the obvious answer, but try a spring from a pen, I'ts a cheap alternative.

Another idea, get a fridge magnet and search the floor for the original.
