Material considerations are one thing, but I can't imagine the nice people at WDP plotting anything as 'dastardly' as that. Couldn't you argue that with any material?

Surely the decision to wipe paint is the individuals- if you're going to do it, it won't make any difference on the material?

Maybe the salesperson was 'trying' to be funny....

It doesn't seem to make any difference. Said unscrupulous stand were, how can i put this, "miss-informed". [Cough]Talkin'-outa-there-ass![/Cough]

Normally when wiping paint, (Althought my only experience of this is in between games, I might add!:)) some of it is wiped off and some rubbed deeper into the matierial.

Because the matierial is semi-waterproof it did not absorb the paint, if anything making it harder to rub off at first. It just kind of smeared everywhere.

It came off later with a bit of toilet paper but it wasn't slipping off or anything, just like normal material.

So if anything they make it harder to casually remove during a game but when you do get it off there is no chance of it staining.

Mind you there are quiet a few different materials in it's construction, so i can't say i have tested them all.

This is just a nasty rumor that happens to every product released. Before World Cup was even over a competing company's sales rep told our store that the new Dye pants were going to be banned before the next tournament because of excessive padding. It happens all the time.
