Spoke to Matt this weekend and he says that they probabley won't be including the evolve style internals in the G7 as it can be to fiddley for the user to set up properly or adjust, and to many people will get it wrong and have problems, they are going to put a slightly less highly tuned but far more user friendly set of internals in and leave the evolve stylee for those keen enough to have it fitted after market as they will be able to use it properly without getting confused. :D

Seems that would make sence...
The evolve stuff isn't hard to set up providing you know what you're doing, as I spectacularly prooved this weekend lol...
All it really takes is a bit of time, paint, a chrony and the know how.

I meant the lightened hammer and new valve, not all the adjuster stuff that gives people the ability to screw up their gun.

Angels are all about turn on and play, zero hassles. As soon as you introduce a load of variables you get hundreds of people contacting WDP to say their marker doesn't work when there is nothing wrong with it.

Don't think the lightened hammer would work without the rest of the set up!
Bare in mind Ben these kits would be set up from factory therefore would be turn on and play. With a stock Angel and a toolkit if you strip the gun down, put it back together again not knowing what you're doing you could easily screw it up royaly!

This is tech illiterate monkey repetition of what i heard:

the evolve system is a very sensitive balence system, meaning it needs to be kept tuned other wise the setting will creep or be wrong for the temperature. I.e. its not just a case of setting it up, it needs to be used by someone that nkow what they are doing at least a little bit :)

Sounds bout right...
But then currently you'd tune your angel for different temps etc.. admitedly that may just involve adjusting dwell...

My point is, I don't know what WDP will be putting in the G7 (few do). But whatever they put in (which if rumour is to be believed will have very similar benefits to the Newton kit) will be stock and won't need (or have the option of) tweaking to get working.

It will be out of the box ready, as that has always been what Angels are about.

The original question was...

"Will the G7 benifit from this upgrade or will it have this level of technology as standard?"

I believe it will have this level of technology as standard. That's all.

I think you will find any atmosphere balanced valve will require tuning this includes the G7 valve.

This will never be a out of the box setup it gives you the best out of your gun and so requires setup. once you get the hang of it setup can take all of  2 mins. set it, lock it down and shoot as long as there is no major wether change or paint batch change it will be fine all event.

There you go then - I am wrong! :)

Can't imagine WDP putting anything in a marker that would require any further degree of user intervention though. So maybe for newton levels of tweakability you will just have to buy a newton...
