If you live anywhere really humid, it's possible the pin has slightly rusted in place. The pin on my LCD trigger used to come out reallly easily, but on my IR3, I'd always have to give it a good whack witha nail and a 5 pound sledge hammer. As for the pin thing, try changing your trigger settings, like Tom said, otherwise, you might have a dead board (same thing happened to me. One day, out of the clear blue, go to turn it on, wants a pin that I never set. And I bought mine new).
