Angel IR3 chopping paint

So I lent out my IR3 to a mate today, running it on an 850psi preset (usually run it on 600psi with no problems). But it's been chopping paint like crazy all day.

If I'm using an 850psi preset should I be adjusting the dwell or anything like that to make up for the higher input pressure?

If not, anyone got any other idea's?

Tried it with an Eggy 2 and a Halo TSA. Also turned the maximum ROF down to 13 just to make sure it wasnt that the hopper couldnt keep up.

I have a feeling it was just the weather as it was running fine a month ago and I havent fiddled with anything since then. But thought I'd and find out if the higher pressure input would mean that I'd have to make any changes or not.

Hehe, of course, hitting around 290 fps.

Screwed the velocity adjuster all the way in before connecting the gas, so that I knew it would be too low, then chrono'd up from that.

Was shooting fine when it didnt chop, but I'd say 1 of every 15 or 20 balls was chopping.

Well, one of my mates is wanting to buy it, but I'm not selling it to him if it's chopping paint like crazy and I know he'd be plugging in an 850psi preset as well. I may wait for a warmer day and have a go in the backgarden, if it works fine then it was probably just the weather.

Was shown a spitfired angel today, very nice :)
