no thats not the freak barrel thats just the one that it came with when i got it, the freak has a stainless steal back and a gloss silver front. it comes with one insert which is 0.687 bore.
no the feedneck is not clamping however this has not been a problem for me, it is a good quality feedneck and doesn't seem to suffer the problem ions have. my revvy fitted nice and snug, couldn't be pulled out. when i got my egg i had to sand it down a tad but that fitted fine as well. there are two holes either side of the feedneck, i can only assume these act to suck the air out as you put the hopper on so that it doesn't slip out. so no its not clamping but your egg shouldn't wobble.
