Thanks for one of the best games we had yesterday, it was real close with both teams pushing hard. I just hope that after such a good game that that little comment wasn't aimed at us.

The game I am speaking of was on the Angel field, not with you guys on hyperball. Sparks flew and it almost got ugly. I will leave it at that.

Agreed, it was a great tournament and the judges on the Hyperball field deserved the round of applause received at the presentation - they worked hard and weren't affraid to make those difficult calls.

Big thanks to both Shockwave UK and Rushers for passing out some of their WDP prizes at the end of the day - gestures like that go a long way. Talking of Shockwave - thanks for giving us such a hard spanking (hhmmm....) - made us think a lot about what you were doing differently and I'm sure will help us lift our game.

Also, congrats to Sad UK for stopping us in our tracks and denying us 2nd place - can't believe we were just 7 points off of 3rd! It was a great game and as it was our first tourney playing together, you can be sure we'll come back to give you a good beating. :)

Cheers to everyone who attended. Great atmosphere, great day.

Thanks to Nick and all at skirmish, all the teams in the red division and finally the Skulls.

Well done guys, as always it is a pleasure to play amongst you, as long as everyone keeps a hold on their car keys.

Couldnt fault the tourney. Worth the 3 hour drive up.

Thanks to everyone there. I'm swelling up with tears.

couple of minor notes, I saw on at least one occassion, when the angel field and the hyperball field were started at almost the same time (say 4 seconds difference), the hyperball got the game on first, but some players on the Angel field ran off a few seconds before the Angel field got the game on.

Chrono on the Hyperball field was reading higher than the one of the Angel/Sup air field.

Loved it.

One of the things I liked was that although *everyone* was chronied on the Hyperball field, you were generally given the opportunity to get yourself sorted out (time permitting) rather than a 'zero tolerance' policy - if you were over 300 at the test you were usually given a period of time to fix the problem.

On another note, I hope the marshalls enjoyed the beer!

yes, I had to rechrono my gun each hyperball field. From a safety perspective, just hope the hyperball chrno was incorrect, not the othe chronos being too low.

Marshalling is relaxed yet fair at Skirmish. Apart from the one marshal who pulled a player, put him back in a few minutes later, then took him back out due to the crowd and another marshall intervening.

:D Thanks for all the positive feed back guys, and a big thanks for all the negative feedback.

To make anything better u must always learn from your mistakes, rather than just trying to justify why it went wrong.

There are 2 sides 2 every story as there are 2 ends to every piece of string. I welcome feedback of all sorts good & bad, Believe me I do listen.

The Angel Cup will be back next year, its being sorted now. Perhaps in a location a bit further south, who knows, watch this space!

Anyone going to Toulouse & if u guys want I can sort out a full size 75x35m supair training field @ our site to pratice on the sunday before, if u are intrested give me a bell 07710 426704 or post one on here.

Once again thanks for all u guys turning up, and Iam glad u had a great day.

P.S. watch out 4 our 8 man, 3 leagues, self seed, 8 games, only 18 places available, (air on site hopefully ) some time in Aug/Sep, will announce the date in the next few days.

If I don't see u before, C ya in Toulouse
