Checking your paint is just one suggestion.

If you are getting a large amount of barrel breaks then it must be a problem with your gun, the paint, or combining the two.

It could be something simple like the paint you are using is too small or too big for the barrel. Or maybe your infinity has been damaged in some way.

Without seeing the problem I cant comment.

Often rental grade paint is very good quality.

We used Skirmish Blaze for the PA last year and it was the best paint I have ever shot.

The key to its quality was how fresh it was. Often you would get the same number 3 or more times on the chrono and it always bounce tested at 3 or 4...

Lovely stuff, shot very straight.

Yeah I'm quite aware of the need to size up your paint.

I used a few different types, nelson pearl, draxxus and another, all reasonable paint in fairly good conditions.

My marker shoots alright with anything but the infinity I have so it might be the barrel.

Anyways it doesn't get used anymore so it's not really a long standing problem for me, just gives the barrel a bad name in my experience.

Some barrells may vary from the factory

ive always known the infinity to be a spot on barrel from way back -

WDP did a few limited Tippmann 98 threaded infinity barrells a few years back which made one hell of a difference on a tippy.

Nicky try a different infinity and see if its as bad - could be your aim??
