i was under the impression angel air was the best air you can get but then i noticed on fat bobs a dynaflow system is more expensive with the same sort of set up! why is that?

I don't know of anywhere where the dyna flow costs more than Angel AIR, it usually runs you about $450 and Angel AIR is usually a bare minimum of $500. Putting that all aside, the dyna flow is a spectaular system, I almost bought one of those instead of my Angel AIR, but I think the AIR is the better regulator. However, the dyna flow is much smaller, has a push botton on/off, and provides some of the most consistent regulation in the paintball industry, so it's all up to you. Look at the features of both, and figure out which one suits you better.
I guess "The Best" is always a matter of opinion, but I choose the Dynaflow, and an old teammate of mine just choose the Dynaflow with an aluminum body, which I would've chosen if one was available when I got mine. My only quibble with my tank was that at the time, they used a skinny black O-ring in a static position around the On/Off assembly that couldn't handle the 4500 psi if you used the On/Off button above ~3000 psi (eventually it would start leaking 'cause it was severely deformed) but a white O-ring from an Automag O-ring kit (it has the 4 white, fat O-rings also) solved that problem for me (even though I still don't tempt fate so I turn Off my system BEFORE I air up). I like the fact that the On/Off also drains the air, and the regulator works perfectly for me, set at 500 psi output. Also, it's lighter than the Angel Air, and I don't have to worry about cracking that plastic screen (I hit the ground, unexpectedly, alot ). The aluminum body now comes with the dovetail groove milled into it, so that along with the aluminum means that it's much lighter than the stainless steel version that I have. Some people I know really like the Angel Air, but they never look at the screen after their first week or two. Oh well, just my two cents.
