The A1 has the same thread as the speed 06 and g7 fly but shorter, the g7 is the old standard angel threads.
Although the new angel barrel threads are similar looking to the cocker thread they are different and cannot be used.

yes putting the dwell down will help but have you set up the pressures?

I am referring to the guages that can be bought from WDP.

When we set ours up we had to take shims out of some and not from others. Having the pressures set up correctly will improve your efficiency and reduce kick etc.

Lastly the new magnetic valves that will be coming out soon will also reduce the operating pressure and hence efficiency.
