Angel A.I.R question

this might be a stupid question,
But can you use any air bottle with the angel air regulator or does it have to be an angel air bottle to.

You can buy just the reg on its own, although obviously you only want to fit it to bottles rated 4500psi, otherwise the in-built safety features won't help you.

The threads on the reg could be different.

I have tried to change a tank on a max flow, with a tank on the a.i.r. and they didnt fit!!!

Anyone else?

IIRC, the threads on Max Flows & their tanks are non-standard (reversed or different pitch, whatever) so they'll only work with each other. I haven't owned a Max for about 3 years, so I may be wrong.

P8ntbllr99: You should contact WDP first to confirm that the standalone reg will work with the Crossfire tank. I've never had a Crossfire, so I can't give a definite reply re that make.
