So a question for the Millennium. Will the field layout for the
Amsterdam Open X- Ball be the same as the EXL? Or will it be an
entirely different field layout?

Hey Rodney,

Both X Ball fields will be identical except perhaps color since some Open X Ball games will probably need to be played on the EXL field.

Another thing for all Open X Ballers: Even though we are trying to harmonize all the details of how we run our games with NXL we may not interpret the rules exactly the same way NXL does or the way PSP does in Division X Ball. For that reason all team captains should be present at the captains' meeting.

Amsterdam looks like it will be superb!

Not that it bothers me at all, but wont teams like Miami and Trauma have a huge advantage over other teams as the NXL field used for Orlando will be used again in Amsterdam? As the Divisional fields in the PSP are different, Dynasty and all the other Div 1 teams will be at a distinct disadvantage when they play Trauma and Miami.

Ummm....Sam, I have a feeling that everyone except Dynasty will have a distinct disadvantage against Miami and Trauma no matter what field they play on. As for Dynasty, you never know.

But you're right. It sure doesn't help them any.

Agreed...seems that a good imagination and an eye for oringal & inventive field design is not somthing that the EXL bosses posses.

Well, maybe they do but they are yet to demonstrate it.
