American Stupidity?

joe bob, I know of no American that takes pride in their stupidity. If you are so unhappy with the country you live in,why not get involved and try to make it better? Writing posts like yours on a board read by mostly Europeans isn't helping us or them. It also makes Americans feel embarrassed that you are American, when in reality, you may really be quite a nice guy.
blastum, I don't know what prompted an outburst like that, but you are insulting the most faithful allies we have ever had. My heart goes out to the British and all European mothers that have lost their sons while standing beside us in this war.America has her fair share of "stupid" people just like all countries. We have a lot of "ignorant, uneducated" people because our educational system has failed our youth. When a system graduates a young man just to make him feel good about himself instead of because he has earned a diploma, that is what you get. Maybe, when our country realizes that being "politically correct " is producing too many "ignorant and uneducated" individuals, things will improve and those that need extra help will get it.
Until then, tomorrow (Thursday) is the first day of the PSP and X-Ball and in just 2 more weeks many Euro teams will be coming to play Huntington Beach NPPL Super 7. It's going to be an extremely exciting year. Good luck to you all.

Im sorry for the outburst,But im tired of seeing the liberal press constantly saying we(in so many words suck)and it is our own press.I was looking for some good forums for some help with my cocker when I seen "american stupidity" and I snapped.I take pride in my country,and also appreciate the brits for there support in some unforseen issues.I cant stand the flaming of Bush or for that matter Mr.Blair.At least They stand up for something they believe.I dont agree with Bush on some issues,but Im tired of the U.S getting bashed for standing up for it self.But It seems when someone needs help, they ask us for it.Im sorry about the politics but the U.S and the Brits are allies.So it makes it kinda personal when your buddies stab you in the back.Granted we dont have to agree on all the issues but I wouldnt flame them about something they were ignorant about.I know you guys might not agree with me but the U.S gets blamed for everything so in turn, I think if we are gonna get blamed we should be blamed for legit reasons.W.M.D =saddam.No saddam =no WMD.No saddam = we all are better off.Plain and simple.
