The SPL lock isnt on untill after the Max masters. otherwise this means that everyone in SPL have to stay with their first rostered list and arent able to fill it with all 12 players they are allowed.

and each team is only allowed to field max 9 at the actual event.

MS info:
SEASON ROSTER LOCK: SPL teams must submit their final season roster with a minimum of 7 Players 1 week prior to the second event. These rosters will then be locked from this point. Further players could be added to the roster from a Sister Team.

Nexus will not be picking up anyone else or trying to add to the current roster, Hugo was just trying to help a baller out by putting Alex in contact with some guys. We are more than happy with the current roster we have for now.
