i wouldn't go deliberately doing this, i'm no expert when it comes to air systems but deliberately loosening a part that is meant to be snug while under like 800psi of pressure probably isn't the smartest idea.
proberbly a good idea since i didnt move mine much as all. Maybe if you emptied the tank completely and disambled your regulator and then you might be able to put it together with a little offset to how it was?

It's recommended to store all pressurised cylinders with some pressure to maintain seals and (particularity in scuba diving for obvious reasons) to avoid moisture getting inside an unpressurized seal

That bonnet style you are referring to is not designed to be moved around. You are meant to screw it tight then clamp it shut with the set screws (which sometimes come loose).

I would suggest that you are probably holding the gun too high and bending your wrist too much. Is your bottle angled down slightly by chance? (I have only experienced this wrist issue on FT12's)

I agree with a above post. I've got two bottles: a throttle & a GA and I've got one flush burst disk on the GA and its much better to play with. Just new to swap the other burst disk and possibly do the same in the throttle
