I would def agree with that. Quality team training time is essential BUT just getting yer ass behind a trigger and playing pays huge dividends IMHO.keka said:We need to get away from this "Team" training mindset.
In the US they have team training but they also have practice where it's 5 on 5. Doesn't matter who you are or what level. You just jump on and play. When that point is done the next 10 go on and so on. It is one reason why the US kids get so good so quickly.
If only a few of your guys turn up, just ask if you can grab 2 or 3 guys and jump in. Drill weekends are different but any good practice field could run drills on the Saturday and then a open scrimmage on the Sunday.

All Teams should know that everyone helps everyone down at Dartford, from Notorious to Nexus we all muck in together, so like you said jusy ask to join in everone is welcome!!!!!yeah i fully agree but the guys down there were doing break out stuff so we didnt want to impose. In hindsight we should have just bit the bullet and asked to jump in.
