Just a personal query here. Now is it just me or is there a HUGE number of these threads that seem to be growing in numbers on a weekly basis...

Now, this is in no way personal, I have no hidden agendas bla bla bla, but if people want to thank their sponsors/training buddies/guest players etc - why don't they just thank them personally? Send them an email, drop them a line etc I don't understand why it gets done publicly on here - or an I missing something???

People do it because its a way of showing the thanks and aoppreciation that you have for your sponsors to the outside world. Also it shows how some teams manage to get sponsors and also keep them even when the results arn't coming in.

is public thanks not worth more than private thanks?

it boast's teams name ye sure and so what so does so and so has joined so and so. this team has done that this seems a little harsh are these boards not here to have your vioce heard?
