on another slightly off topic note,

John C, that trickle charger how long should i leave it on the battery for?? cus it still won't hold a big charge after 36 hours.....
Depends on the condition of the battery.

The most I ever left one on charge for was a solid week.

That was an old NiCd though (but it really did the trick).

I reckon for a battery that has been standing 36 hours should be enough.

After you have given it a long charge, discharge it and then recharge again.

Often the fault is one of the 5 cells in the pack has gone down. If you get a multimeter, and cut little holes in the shrinkwrap at the end of each cell. Put the meter on 2v range and measure each cell, and you may find a cell or more with a lower voltage than the others, these need to be replaced.

Why do 'laser' eyes feature so highly in peoples opinion?
Invisible stuff is less trustworthy.
When visible light is used, diagnosing an eye problem is 50% easier. With IR emitters, you can't tell from looking if the emitter is out.
