Argh, literally the max it will go is 270. Rather infuriating its only happened since I put a new v3 poppet in it

No I've got the new one in it as the old one wasn't seating correctly and causing a small leak

Check the face on which the poppet seats, should be clean with no dents/nicks.
Can you swap parts with someone else's Axe, such as the solenoid & regulator, to see if that makes a difference to your Axe?

Try new battery, may have too mucg great on bolt, change all the orings on the bolt and bolt guide and try putting the input pressure up a little more 220 psi

Don't put the input pressure up more than 200PSI as it will ruin your noid

all fixed had to remove the little spring in the back of the poppet, now chronos fine
