I got shot in the shaft at OTE, wasnt that painfull, not to sound macho, but I would think that a shot in the shaft is no where near as bad as a twang on the bollock.
hehe we filled the schools tw@'s y fronts with deep heat whilst he was in the shower, the look on his face after he put them on is priceless
ps feel guilty now as i met him 10 years later and he's a good lad
baseball caps are great protectors wen worn backwards and as jahlad sed, i wouldnt get the hood, maybe just a neck protector, which works just as well
body armor isnt so good, i have the dye jersey and hybrid pants and they protect just as well, and better!! especially wen you start sliding and jumping around
Base ball caps are fine.. but you know that metal stud on the top of the baseball hat... i tended to keep getting shot straight on there... and that metal stud hurts like a bugger when it hits your head... so i now go with a beenie hat or a doo-rag...
if you want to cover your chin, you'll have to buy a different mask, try the JT proflex's or the V-Force armour to protect your chin, although i really reccomend the flex's.
Base ball caps do help keep you goggles on etc... so they are good for that...
If you do go for a baseball cap make sure it ain't got one of those gaps at the back that adjusts its size... coz when you turn it round you can bet you last quid you will get shot there!
