you do get an allowance rosie im pretty sure you should look into it! and pad lock it! buggers will be running around the grounds shooting each other! lol

plus you can put mre stuff in your kit bag, so means more room for duty free!

To be honest you dont really need to take the reg off the bottle...as long as you can prove that its empty that should be fine, obviously if its just a screw in take it off. We have flew all over Europe and have had no problems with the bottles.
Tools deff in the suitcase.
Leave Marker as it is.
€ in Greece and deff a copy of PGI in the suitcase also.

If you dont take the reg off (eg. remove the burst discs to show its empty) they still wont allow it, s its not only the burst risk they are looking for, its the pound of crack/heroin/E/Canabis resin/Semtex, that could easily be inside.

So...take the reg off...

i didnt know id have to take the reg off the bottle then, else i would have asked someone to do it for me yesterday

You do not have to take the reg off the bottle. Just make sure that it can vent when it is in the hold. Easiest thing to do is take your bottom line off and screw it on the bottle. The air pressure will then equalise by venting out of the macroline fitting or similar.

They have x-ray machines to see what is inside the bottle.

A copy of PGI is always a good idea though.

X-Ray will only see metal parts of teh botle or metal inside it...it wont detect organic material like Crack/Heroin/E/Canabis/Semtex

Trust me...

Maybe about to show my ignorance here, but assuming semtex is an explosive, how do they detect it in bags if it isn't in a comical bomb-shape, complete with ticking sounds and "bomb" written on it in lead paint?

Not meaning to be a smart arse, just curious!
