Yeah surely higher air pressure going into marker = higher possible fps velocity? Put in very basic terms anyway...

The higher pressure input, causes the inline reg to work very hard and as such, produces less consistent output.

Bad reg. It's not that hard to do, but some manufacturers will continue to push junk as long as the punters buy it.
