air bottle testing

who tests the bottles and why?
also how long do they go without having to be re-tested??
can anyone shed any light

errr to make sure there safe to fill,if a tank blows under 3000/4500 psi it will be like a frag grenade
what tank you got different tanks have different tests

as for testing it depends on what material they are made out of, but (well the ones my team use) luxfer ones i think need a test every 5 years, but i think other types of bottle need tests in less then that or more.

Pop the bottle to me by tuesday mate and ill get it out to Hpac (have a few going there this week)
