Not in the slightest. Air assist was a fad that never really helped. It was a gimmick.

Much better for your angel is to get a decent hopper with intelifeed type capabilities such that it doesn't wait for the stack to deplete but agitates with each shot.

The best system for this is the 'reload' kit. You can get them from Diablo Direct and a few other places.

What loader

A team mate has the reloaded kit and i have the 12v revy. The re-loaded is ok but as im starting to outshoot the revy will it be better to get the intelifeed wire or splash out on the Halo b?

Will the intelifeed speed the loader up or just replace the batteries?

The intellifeed just allows the hopper to run off the markers batteries rather than costly 9v. I don't think it makes any difference to the speed te paddle rotates.

I've heard that the halo b isn't a good idea on angels as it forces the balls into the breach more so than other hoppers, causing breaks.

Attached to an Angel it spins slower then a normal 12v revy The angel battery is around 6v IIRC....

air assist was one to file under....looks like it would work but didnt really no much (other than haveing a tube flopping about on your marker)
if you are out shooting a revvi then prob best to upgrade to a faster hopper....as you mentioned halos tho i dont know about them causing breaks as mentioned above or evo2 maybe

If you use the Angel intellifeed then the paddles go slower and it works off the gun's battery, which is not the best really in my opinion. But the fact it turns for every shot is useful.

Hence the reload. Which works off the hopper's batteries (so paddles turn at a decent speed) and turns for each shot. It's the best of all agitating systems in my opinion. It's the most reliable gravity feed loader.

If you want to go faster you need to go force feed, which means warp or halo. Some angels need new ball detents or are not happy with force feed loaders. Others are just fine.

It's not the halo over forcing the balls (at least not with the Halo B) it's because the Angel detents are weaker, the angel breech bores are larger and because the bolt sits a bit further back from the feedneck. All of these things together allows a ball to move forwards or backwards a bit and another one to partially load which then gets hit and broken by the gun's bolt.

WDP uses a Halo to demonstrate how fast their guns can go in their video's so it's not always a problem.
