I got an idea, someone lend me 1/4million, and I'll have the best Indoor Paintball arena in the world!

Hey, did I ever tell you guys that there are three indoor fields within a half-hour drive from me?..... oh, I did?.......... okay then.

Why aren't there many indoor fields in the UK? There is only really one down at LPS as far as I am aware although I have heard of some up towards Manchester.
I want to be able to go after work during the week and play for a few hours, or when it's pissing it down to find somewhere nice and cosy to play.

So why don't we have more? Cost of premises or insurance I expect, but that can't be the only reason? Maybe lack of viable buildings?

Although they are only plans at the moment, hopefully they are looking at the middle of next year before it's up and running!

the cost over here is horrendous. a square foot is about that a year in rent for a warehouse so a sup air 7man size in edinburgh cos about 60K plus rates and bills on top.
Indoor paintball is a difficult sell at times. I like playing paintball outdoors because when it's a nice day out, then it's great to play paintball out and enjoy it! However, when it comes to rainy and/or cold days or other reasons to be inside, paintball competes with everything else, of which for most people it's the most expensive thing they can possibly do. Given that budget is the prime mover for most people, an indoor field had better be truly first rate for it to even survive. Not an easy task at all....

Yeah bloody hell that would be brill to get an indoor somewhere in essex .Be better than be flooded off of a concept field a MAZ

As I say, it is still all in the development stage at the moment, so not a lot of info available.
All I know is 2 to 3 indoor sup'airs and possibly 2 outdoor concept fields. At least 1 five man and 1 seven man tourny per month and weeekend/evening training all other times.
