I find it easy when snap shooting to aim the barrel just abit away from the player you about to shoot.
1) Basically have your gun up pointing into the barricade.
2) Adjust yourself and the barrel just so its a little off the player your about to shoot. eg if your on the right, and gun in left hand move it right just off the player. (you have to imagine the player infront of you)
3) Now as you quickly lean out your gun and barrel should follow your body exactly, and the barrel should be in-line with your opponent.
4) Fire off 2-3 shots and very quickly move back into your barricade.
If hes gone well done, but if he isnt adjust the gun further so the next time round you will. BUT!! make sure he isnt firing at you when you do, or better yet come out from a different position and surprise him again.
Hope that helps :)

I just try and get my head dead centre with the gun, lean out fire a few burst, and then lean back in, if you fitted a drop forward your CO2 bottle won't get in the way as much, and its a case of lining up with your body and do the same. If your going for a long shot (usually the case if your rec-balling), its a case of compensating, if its off a little to the left, move the marker a little to the right and same of up, down, and so on! A technique Complete useless on speed ball fields, but it won me a "bomb the radar" at YPC!lol!:D

haha i love how this topic got turned from hopper in the way to tips on snap shooting! haha well anyways an elbow can always be a quick fix to the problem of the hopper getting in the way. that way it's offset so you don't have to worry about it being right in your line of sight!
